Beginning Calligraphy: LIVE Online with Aspacia Kusulas

Occasionally, circumstances call for you to pick up a pen and write beautiful letters to fully capture the elegance and expression of the hand-written word. No matter what your penmanship looks like, you’ll learn everything from basic strokes to full alphabets, connecting letters, and create letterforms in classical or modern freestyle calligraphy to enhance your skill set and expand your fundamental knowledge of script letterforms.

Copperplate script calligraphy, also known as English Round Hand, was originated in England in the 1660s and is one of the most popular styles of handwriting. Aspacia will teach the history and techniques of pointed pen calligraphy, demonstrate calligraphic techniques, and lead you through best practices for grip, posture and more.

This is a special LIVE ONLINE version of our beginning calligraphy course, conducted via live video webcast.

Join in live and interact with Aspacia in real time, ask questions along the way, and enjoy lifetime access to the recording for further practice.

If you cannot join live during this time or only for a partial part of the session, do not worry, you’ll always have access to the recording.
