Customized Team Training
Our training programs are designed to work for your company’s context, culture, and needs solely for the purpose of solving business, design process and communication issues.
TypeEd is based in the Los Angeles area, but we can travel anywhere to train your team. We work with medium to large companies that have in-house departments, brand communication groups, and marketing teams between three to 75 people. We also consult with ad agencies who need a fresh perspective on client work.
We’ve worked with teams at Disney Art Share, Mattel, Simpson Strong-Tie, Liquid Agency, Blizzard Entertainment, Living Spaces, AC Pro, WPS Publish, Felix Limited, and more.
To determine a training curriculum, first we address your business goals. For example, your department’s goals may include:
- To improve marketing and sales activities with improved web site, catalog, menu or marketing collateral readability
- To save design and production time (and budgets) by strengthening brand guidelines and/or design processes
- To increase performance with increased know-how and efficient habits
Once that is determined, we work with you to implement a plan that involves theory, critical thinking, and skill mastery. This involves an assessment, class, hands-on workshop and work review. On-site programs continue ongoing check-ins on video meetings and online work reviews.
