Calligraphy Covered: Intermediate (Part 2)

  • TypeEd 145 Valley Street Pasadena, CA, 91105 (map)

Occasionally, circumstances call for you to pick up a pen and write beautiful letters to fully capture the elegance and expression of the hand-written word. And for those times, you’ll be prepared knowing how to sport a nib or two.

No matter what your penmanship looks like, you’ll learn everything from basic strokes to full alphabets, connecting letters, and create letterforms in classical or modern freestyle calligraphy to enhance your skill set and expand your fundamental knowledge of script letterforms.

In the intermediate-level day of this two-part workshop, you’ll a step further than the typical calligraphy class by designing and composing a customized calligraphic title for a book cover from pen to completed, digitized artwork. View details of the first session, Calligraphy Covered Part 1.

Materials and refreshments for this workshop will be provided. Please let us know if you are right or left handed. Feel free to bring any tools and supplies that you may already own to use.
