Boot Camp: Nib Workout is a calligraphy workout session that is tailored to level up your letters. The Nib Workout is designed to strengthen the muscle memory of calligraphic motion and posture. Guided exercises will be lead to continue stroke improvement and begin the basics of swashing and flourishing.
This 3-hour Calligraphy Boot Camp is a practice session for those with and understanding of beginning copperplate calligraphy skills.This workout helps participants practice the fundamental strokes as well as provide a foundation for flourishing.

Core Instructor Aspacia Kusulas is a lettering artist, letterpress printer and calligrapher specializing in brand identity, packaging & stationery, all with a strong emphasis in typography.
About this Clinic
Boot Camp: Nib Workout is an intermediate-level calligraphy clinic for those with previous beginning copperplate calligraphy (English roundhand) experience. You'll learn:
- How to improve stroke quality and speed
- How to build off of letterforms for simple swashes
- How to begin flourishing
Participants must have taken Calligraphy Covered Day 1. Ages 21+.
Participants must bring their own calligraphy supplies including; oblique pen, pen nib(s), rag marker paper pad, dinky dip or holder with ink.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you can’t make it, email us at least 24 hours in advance to move your registration to another class date of your choice. Full refunds will be honored only if a cancellation is requested seven (7) days or more prior to the original scheduled event.
