Solopreneuring in Chinatown
In Kleverdog's open studio, freelancers and solopreneurs get work done independently or collaborate together at Flex-Desks. Extras include a communal kitchen serving fresh-brewed organic coffee and access to a network printer/scanner. The space also hosts Kleverdog Academie, an after-hours educational program held by members and the outside community. Zen and Inspiration
Although most other spaces in LA are geared towards businesses, startups, and general freelancers, Jellyfish Cartel is dedicated to designers and creatives for short term and long term projects as well as ongoing space rental. Amenities include an open aesthetic space with natural light, an outdoor patio with lounge chairs and tables. Wall space for hanging comps is available as well as custom paper cutter & plotter, large format scanner and a small photo studio with lights and camera equipment. Tomorrow Magazine, Modern Mumu and Knox Avenue operate from Jellyfish.

The Base Camp For Changemakers
Creatives, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and academics find work and new contacts through connecting with other members, and many design members find work through their Hub LA collaborations. A full kitchen flows with unlimited coffee, iMac computers are available for use in the Hub LA Media Lab, and members get discounts to AIGA LA events and workshops held in the space. Firms that operate here in the Arts District include verynice, The Dieline, The Mill-LA and The Yellow Loft.

CoWorks is an office space in Santa Monica that's both professional and laid back. Here, you'll find a mix of online startups, developers, real estate agents, architects, venture capitalists and more. Members here have 24-hour access to the building for maximum work flexibility. Opodz is in the lively neighborhood of Little Tokyo and has Gold Line access. The space is full of a variety of people from all sorts of industries such as video game designers, photographers, comic-book artists, writers, musicians, real estate agents, non-profit heads and more. Amenities include coffee, access to the conference room, ability to print/scan/fax, and connect to wi-fi. The space also showcases local artists and hosts a number of tech/web and entrepreneurial events discounted for members.

Creative Space
BLANKSPACES are designed by a the founder, Jerome, who is an architect. WorkBars, WorkTables and WorkStations are available as well as ergonomic chairs, access to meeting rooms, free wi-fi, coffee, file cabinets, printers and parking. Designers will appreciate the design of the space and the quality of the furniture. Mid-Wilshire is their original office, and they have just added a new Downtown LA location.

In the heart of Downtown Los Angeles is Indie Desk located on the ground floor of the Wurlitzer building, next to the new Urban Outfitters. Members get a keycard that gives them 24-hour access to the building a a kitchenette stocked with water, soda and coffee.
